Leksikon geografije Crne Gore treba da posluzi citaocu kao izvor informacija o specificnosti prostora Crne Gore, te njenih prirodno-geografskih i drustveno-geografskih procesa i pojava na lokalnom i regionalnom nivou. Cilj je da kroz opisane odrednice predstavimo uzrocno-posledicne veze u prostoru, kljucne probleme u vezi sa ugrozenoscu zivotne sredine, sirovina i energije, te prirodnih resursa, na taj nacin razvijajuci pozitivna osjecanja i odgovoran odnos prema prirodnim i kulturnim vrijednostima Crne Gore.

Cilj je predstaviti geografiju Crne Gore i covjeka koji zivi na tom prostoru; prostoru koji ostavlja svoj pecat na istim tim ljudima, koji se tu radjaju, zive, prolaze. Ova inicijativa treba da bude i jedan od izvora koji ce upucivati citaoca na vaznosti duha tolerancije i medjusobnog uvazavanja ljudi koji zive u Crnoj Gori, bez obzira na civilizacijske i kulturne razlicitosti, isticuci vaznost odgovornog odnosa prema sebi, drugim ljudima i okruzenju.

The Lexicon of Geography of Montenegro should serve to the readers as a source of information on the specifics of the geographical area of Montenegro, and its natural-geographical and socio-geographical processes and phenomena at the local and regional level. The aim is to present through the described determinants the cause-and-effect relations of this space, key problems related to the threat to the environment, raw materials and energy, and natural resources, thus developing positive feelings and a responsible attitude towards natural and cultural values of Montenegro.

The aim is to present the geography of Montenegro and its people who live in this area; a space that leaves its mark on those same people, who are born, live there. This initiative should be one of the sources that will guide the reader to the importance of the spirit of tolerance and mutual respect of people living in Montenegro, regardless of cultural differences, emphasizing the importance of responsible attitude towards themselves, other people and the environment that is sounding them.
